This coupling was the correct part for my 2013 Hyundai Veloster. My car was experiencing a knocking sound that was coming from within the steering column with the slightest movement of the steering wheel. It was driving me nuts everytime I drove my car. The original coupling had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Although it's a small part it's not easily accessible but the repair can be accomplished with very little auto mechanics knowledge. There are several good tutorials on YouTube that will walk you through the entire process of accessing the worn out coupling and replacing it with the new coupling. Make sure you have a T30 star bit & small hands because you will need both to complete the repair.

This solved the steering wheel noise in my Kia Soul. Original part just wore out. Did the repair myself after viewing some youtube videos. It is a little involved but completely doable. Saved me hundreds of dollars.

Cheap part, hard job, you’ve watched the YouTube videos and that’s why you’re here reading this comment. Took me only an hour and a half to do the switch in a ‘13 elantra GT. I spent more time reading reviews and watching youtube videos to prep the job. We have 2 elantra’s, so we will have a space when our second one starts to go. Wish I knew if this part would last forever, but no way to tell!
