We acquired a couple of different musical instruments for our toddler, but did not have these. I was happy I could buy these separately to make his little music set complete! They have held up with going in a toddler's mouth from time to time, and even getting thrown.

Perfect size for my one year old and the sound is great. I expected a tin sound in toy fashion but they are real nice and easy on the ears if no other instruments are being played in the house at that time.

These are tiny. As a toy tambourine, they sound ok and should last for a bit. Not too shabby despite their small size. Do not expect a musical instrument and you should be happy.
