Usually love Fluval products - but DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Six months in and I had to unplug it - the neighbors were complaining about it as I came home today. I could hear in in my driveway and the tank is in the back of the house! Two year warranty but six months in I'm making a warranty claim tonight. Save you proof of purchase!!!

Using this for my 120 gal tank with 3 koi. After turning off my old tetra air pump and replaced it with this, the house instantly got quiet. No buzzing sound at all. Air pumped out very strong and the unit looks solid. Been using it for a week now. Love it.

Would have gotten a 5 star review, though 4 is probably apt really, considering air pressure/ volume, but one that I ordered arrived with a bangle that had a hole in it.

This air filter was great for 6 months running to medium sized bubblers. Then it suddenly stop producing the same air flow. I replaced the hoses, I replaced the air stones and now it doesn’t produce even air at all. Very disappointed. I bought fluval because I have had great luck with their FX6’s and FX5’s and the FX4. And even their small filtration filters.

I bought this last august 20 not even a month it stop working gladly i have it on my fish tank that is currently cycling otherwise could had killed all of my fish on top of that it has false advertisement it says quiet it vibrates louder than my phone no matter what you do even you hang it motor is to loud i have use lots of fluval products and i love them but this item i wont recommend. Return item and cant wait for my refund to get a better one thumbs down on this product

Quiet and powerful, compared it to the Tetra APS300 and seems to be a strong but much less noise. Using a 240L aquarium with two air stones - biggest challenges it getting air stone that actually bubble whole length!
