Works perfect- you can adjust it to your tire thickness as well as adjusting the height of the step. Easily held me at 140 pounds. Excited to use it while we put up our kayaks!

I have the Powerbuilt Heavy Duty Truck Step that fits my Ford F250 original factory tires and even larger truck tires. I needed a second step so I thought I would give this step a try. Sorry to say that this step that costs $10 dollars more does not come close to fitting factory truck tires with a tread measurement of only 9 inches. It is not wide enough to fit over the crown of the tire and to narrow to accommodate the larger middle section of the tire. It is also cheaply built in comparison to others on the market that have more robust construction and support more body weight. If you have a car this tire step will work but I would still be weight consensus about the small push spring pins used for adjusting the frame of the step. If you weigh over 200lbs be concerned. The push pins don't look like they will support much weight. If you have a truck, I recommend you choose a larger more robustly built step.
