It's short, appears to be made well and sharp. Was looking at the more expensive Silkys but decided to go with this economy model. I'm glad that I did because this saw has impressed me with it's ability to cut cleanly through everything I have thrown at it...the belt case is an extra perk. This unit is highly recommended for it's price point and it's performance.

Hi quality steel - well made, works great, sturdy/durable, fits well in the clear hard plastic case. It is perfect for my small emergency kit for when I'm exploring out in the mountains (small, not really lightweight, but it is durable and reliable).

I prune a lot in my work as a gardener. This saw cuts clean and fast with minimal effort. Folds up for pocket storage. Stays sharp. Only caution is that it is easy to break the tip of the blade off if you bind or twist the sawblade.

I was looking for a small folding saw for clearing brush and cutting small limbs while climbing a tree in my climber stand. This is a great little saw and cuts quickly through branches. Just big enough to get the jobs done without filling my pack and weighing me down.

I knew they were Silky Boy knock offs, but was quite surprised by how well these are made. I bought two because of the low price. I’m going to buy more for family. I tossed them into my day pack and keep one in my car. They work quite well. Not quite the same high quality as the Silky boys, but for the low price…I’m okay with them.

It cuts through pork butt shoulder bones cleanly and easly. The saw kerf is narrow and cut off bone particles are very fine with no bone splinters. This saw cuts on the PULL stroke. If you thy to cut on the push stroke it will jam and bend. Watch your finger placement when closing the saw. If you are careless you will get cut!

This is a saw that on first inspection looks very much like a well known Japanese saw, but it is not of the same quality. I found that it does not cut as quickly or smoothly. As others pounted out, the saw blade easily slips out of my preferred straight cutting position to the angled position which I have yet to find a use for. I first used this to prune a chaste (vitex) tree and found the blade had dulled after less than an hours use. It is a handy size and the price is very attractive but don't expect a Silky, because this saw falls well short of that brand. I like saving money but who wants to sacrifice quality and performance?

As small as expect, price is right, and the blades is shaper than expected. Work perfectly for its size.

I went camping for a few days with a small "kindling" stove and this knife cut thumb-sized branches into perfect sizes very easily. It is also very compact and in a case that made carrying it safe and convenient.

This is actually the second one I bought , I do alot of backpacking , I always take this saw , it's small , packable , its never let me down people that have joined me on my trips also have said they like the saw .. this is the second one I bought because it's a gift ,, if I was to have one complaint , it would be , if I was to ever need to replace the blade , it would nearly cost the same as the saw itself

I got this little saw to shove in my pockets while doing gardens. It is so handy and sharp enough to cut thicker branches and shrubs for pruning. Love the fact it folds up and has a protective case. Has been a great addition to my garden tools!

The Hand Saw worked very well for pruning my big yucca tree.
