The ultimate set of dulcimer strings. This is very nearly the string set we've been installing on new Folkcraft dulcimers since 2012. The only difference from our stock 4-string set is that this set has a slightly heavier bass string (a .026RW).
Strings in this set:
Melody strings (2) .011
Middle string: .013
Bass string: .026RW
The "RW" stands for Roller-Wound. The roller wound strings have a steel core, with a brass winding. The brass winding has been flattened with rollers, creating a warm sound with very little string squeak.

The service was great. And the product was as described. Was able to install on a"hand me down" instrument and it improved the sound .It sounds beautiful.
