I love these strings. I have a starter dulcimer that did NOT like another well-known brand of strings that I've used on my guitar for some reason. Yet these strings sound beautiful on my dulcimer. I will definitely be purchasing from this company in the future. If their instruments are as good as their strings, I guess I'll be buying more than strings one day!

The strings are great, due to the stiffness they are hard to keep in place during installation. The great music wire causes this headache with a bit of practice it becomes a non issue. I replaced the screws on mine with brass nails and bent them back a bit to prevent their being pulled off as easily. It sounds better too over the steel screws.

These strings were supposed to be squeekless and they weren't. I've purchased these string before and they were ok. I contacted Folkcraft about this and never got a response.
