I ordered these for camping, as when you only have one burner it can take a while to get part 2 of a meal ready after part 1 is done. They do their job just fine, with the fine mesh at the bottom preventing most insects from getting in. One thing that did not occur to me, though (and no fault of the product) is that most picnic tables have gaps between the top boards PLENTY large enough for bugs to find their way in anyway. You have to be gentle when popping them open to make sure the internal wires are unfolding correctly. It's not hard to accidentally kink them when pulling the string tight if you aren't paying attention or holding them at an angle.

Made of light materials. Not a surprise for it's price. Opening this cover could be tricky to some folks. Be careful not to force it open.

They are so crooked, and the design is so poor that the insects can go to the food underneath them. They do not sit flat on a table. They are a waste of money. They are junk.
