Super Flexible High Temp Silicone Tubing Hose

This high temp silicone tube is very widely use in small water pumps such as PC water cooler radiators, blocks and pumps, small pumps for fountains, solar, coffeemakers, and other applications.

The tubing I received was yellow at one end and had a lot of debris in it. It is supposed to be food grade so I expected to be delivered in a more sanitary condition. Just expected clear, transparent tubing that was clean since I wasn’t buying “outlet†used product.

I received a pump with tubing that didn't seem to fit very well and had gotten this for another pump I bought used without any tubing. I had enough tubing to fit both pumps and got my hydroponic systems up and running. I do love growing hydroponically - it's more of an intense effort at the beginning, to get the system set up, planted and then adding the container with the water/nutrient mixture and the pump for getting the liquid up to the highest spot of the unit, the liquid circulating through the system and draining back to the container with the pump. See, setting it up, making sure the pump works well - and both do with the tubing connected - and the planting the container, then it's all about waiting for the plants to grow tall enough to harvest/use. This tubing got two hydroponic systems up and running - I'd say that's good, at least for me!

The real test of clear tubing is how long it lasts in use. We have a liquid chlorinator system for our swimming pool which uses this size hose. I'm looking forward to switching out the original vinyl hose for this product. The vinyl hose has degraded badly in the sun, hopefully this silicone hose will be longer lasting.Only time will tell, but so far, so good.
