This was exactly what I wanted and is a more durable version than the plastic ones I've had in the past. It works easily and does not fall apart. I'd had a silver set of metal salad tongs in the past, but they were too fancy for most occasions, so I used inexpensive plastic ones that worked well overall, but my last pair or two of plastic tongs fell apart sooner than they used to last. These tongs are the perfect middle ground between fancy silver tongs and cheap plastic ones.

Rivet that holds the tongs together seems very loose. "Spoons" were smaller than expected.

My wife had one like this tong for the longest time but could not find a similar item. Well, Amazon has almost everything if you can’t find things, go to Amazon and that’s what I did. My wife is so glad she now has two of these. It’s usefulness in the kitchen cannot be overstated but we use it almost everyday for nearly everything we cook or heat up in the kitchen. It’s the most user-friendly tong out there.

The tongs are on the small/medium side, which I appreciate. They have a nice clean look and do pick up a good amount of salad.
