I usually buy the rolls of FoodSaver vacuum bags, but I wanted to test these out. I really like that they are perfectly and consistently sized for small portions, and I do like that they come with one pre-sealed edge. I have had some difficulties getting FoodSaver bags to properly seal, but I'm pretty sure it's user error. Once I am able to get them to seal, nothing breaks the seam except for scissors.I usually defrost my items in a warm water bath, and I've had no issues with water leaching into my foods, or any plastic-y taste to my recipes. I will probably invest in more sizes, so I don't have to deal with potentially wasting my rolls and having inconsistent sizing in my frozen items.

the Precut work BETTER than the "select-a-size" rolls , by FAR . anything even moist , roll stuff , will NOT seal well , these PRECUT seem to work MUCH better , making worth a little extra$$

We use these bags weekly to vacuum pack frozen portion sized leftovers. Bags are the perfect thickness. If you cut into them, slice it open near the seal so you can remove the amount of food you want then reseal. We also use these to store cheese so it lasts longer.

I like the smaller size for when you are doing up food besides meat.You put the fruit or vegetables in the bag and then just seal it on top and your done.They have a place on the bag to write the date and item.
