Used this to check a lead-acid battery and it performed as it should have. Float is easy to read and color-coded to make interpretation of results straightforward.

It's a pretty simple device, a hydrometer, but the construction, fit and finish is as good as expected. The internal glass weight was nicely padded inside the tube for shipping. The rubber making up the bulb, and tip is heavy weight and should hold up to some abuse. The tube is glass, perfect for easily reading the test result, but be careful with it.
