This is a solid, eye-catching air cleaner. It is a good match for my wrinkle black engine; just enough chrome, just enough black. Installation should take you 30-60 minutes including removing the old air cleaner. I counted and measured the filter surface area and it’s 36% LARGER than the K&N tall filter I had on before. The crank case breathers point back into the throttle body instead of down towards the filter media. At half to a quarter of the price of the big brands, this one is a no -brainer.

My 48 sportster came with a different aftermarket air cleaner that mounts with a post in the middle. I had heard horror stories of this post breaking and going into the engine so I tried many different setups to get rid of it. This was the best one, of the best quality. Easy install and I really like the way it looks as well.

The air cleaner is definitely cool looking and looks great on the bike. It is VERY big and is kind of in the way when I go to hit my rear brakes as I have forward controls. Not for those with short legs and forwards. Gonna be looking into a smaller one. Other than that, it performs well, is VERY easy to install, and is of great value for the money. Something like this, name brand, would be hundreds of dollars.

Let me start by saying...I wasn't floored with the finish on this.You can see where the machinery made it's passes to get the cuts on the finish. I took some brillo and soft polished it before install. It looks better but not perfect. I still gave this cleaner 5 stars because aside from some blemishes only my OCD could notice THIS BREATHER IS BADASS. It installed quickly. Don't forget loctite. Blue. Looks awesome on my bike. And noticeably gave my throttle better response. I did tune with this cleaner.I'd buy again. Im.happy with it. You can't beat the price either. Very good material.

This came in and I was shocked at the build quality and fit of it. It’s is definitely worth the money. I put it on a 2001 Harley Electra glide carbureted 88 big twin. It looks fantastic. Bikes almost fully put back together and I hoping it notice a little performance bump with it after taking the factory air cleaner off.

It fits great and looks great! And for the first week or two I had no problems what so ever.All of a sudden, after only about a week or two of having it on the bike, the filter started deteriorating and sucking into the engine.. buyer beware.
