I weather sealed this and mounted it to the cover of my truck bed. It really holds up, I've driven over 2k miles with it and speeds up to 90 mph and no problems at all. The starlink is very secure, I don't even take it off when not in use. I don't think anyone will be taking this off with ease.

Seems solid other than the set/locking Allen screws feel like they will strip out easy because they are small. Instructions say it should be mounted to 1 1/2†wood for an even so I used a 2x6 and put an extra lip to protect a tree branch from snagging it. My roof if just thick aluminium and spray foamed so I need these to span it over 2 trusses because the bracket is to big. I was mad I paid $100 when a competitor dropped the price a week ago. I’ll update in January after some use.

Have had it on my RV for several weeks now and have drove over 1000 miles and have had no issues.

This mounting bracket is quite robust. I have no concerns that it might not be able to securely retain our Gen3 dish firmy to the roof of our 5th wheel during travel.I was leased to discover that I did not have add extra material to the roof in order to prevent the dish from touch the roof membrane.

Great way to securely mount my gen 3 on top of the motorhome. Now we get reliable internet while traveling down the road, makes it easier to work than relying on hotspots. easy enough to remove if i need to get it out from underneath trees every now and then.
