I bought a used 2012 Ford F-150 and, while on my first road-trip with the truck, discovered that the dip stick handle was broken off and I could not check my oil! Searching online I found that this is a pretty common problem. Evidently the plastic dip-stick handle gets brittle over time and breaks off. I ended up drilling a pilot hole in the plastic "nub" and screwing in an eye-hook so that I could remove the broken dip stick and replace it with this one from Amazon.

Based off the reviews, gave this a try. Fit my 2012 F-150 5.0 perfectly. Would advise others to purchase this.
