Recently I found myself needing a Thermometer that was easier to use , quieter , and more reliable than the one I had! All my kids had fallen sick and since I didn't trust my Forehead Thermometers reading and I was down to the old fashion stick Thermometers that i happened to have in my medical box . So after looking around a bit I ran across this one for a pretty reasonable price .. now i was a bit skeptical that it would be a good quality Thermometer because it didn't cost much, but I was quite impressed as to how well it worked. Its very easy to read and seems to be pretty accurate. The only issue i had was trying to figure out how to switch it to object mode and back , but my husband figured that out and he said it was easy to do . I just leave it on people mode , because I don't want to mess it up ! Lol Overall I'm pretty pleased with it and My 2 year old isn't scared it like she was with the talking one I had .. Anyway I definitely recommend!

This thermometer is not accurate at all. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a second thermometer to compare it with until after the 30 days but I wish I had returned it when I was first suspicious about every patient being 97.5 & 97.4 all the time. Over ready all instructions and used new batteries. Please don't waste your hard earned dollars on this.

Really simple to operate. I would guess that it's 99% accurate, but as the instructions indicate, the thermometer reading is for reference only. I took several forehead readings and it came back within a range of 97.5 to 97.9. Then I tried measuring the temperature in my refrigerator using the object mode. I have it set for 38 degrees. It read between 37.7 and 39.9. I suspect the variance is due to the distance consistency or lack of between the thermometer and what I was measuring. But rarely did I receive the exact same reading result (although small fluctuations) when taking multiple readings. The one plus of this item, is having the dual mode which make this much more functional than the everyday thermometer. Overall, I'm good with it.

Like most people when you need a thermometer to measure a persons temperature you need to be able to find it quickly, have it work correctly and get accurate readings. You also want to do this without issue.This product features an easy on and one step temperature monitoring. It also has a memory so if you are tracking progress on seeing if a temperature is dropping it stores up to 20 measurements.An added bonus is you can us it to measure temperature of other items. An excellent value that is far superior to other methods of measuring temp. Safe (no mercury), reliable, and best of all easy to use.

Reads "97.3" every single time, at every time of day. Body temperature isn't that consistent.
