As a mother of three children 4 and under this is a must needed essential ! It’s been the most accurate by far! I’ve spent much money on tons of different thermometers but this seems to be the most reliable. If you’re a parent and contemplating what thermometer to buy I’m telling you this is your go to must have. It even works on adults as well!On a side note I also suggest the Vicks digital under the tongue thermometer if you want double reassurance. Both thermometers are truly wonderful and very high quality for the price!!

This is one of the most accurate thermometers we’ve owned. Easy to use and no fuss for small kids. Just a quick second to the forehead or behind the ear and it gives the reading. It will start beeping and screen will turn red for fever, otherwise the screen just lights up normally for regular temperature.

I grew up having to hold an uncomfortably sharp metal probe under my tongue for 30 seconds to check whether I had a fever. By comparison this is revolutionary. It reads immediately, and removes comfort and sanitation issues by being contactless. My only gripe is that the construction feels pretty cheap, more like a toy than a proper piece of equipment. That said, its performance has seemed pretty accurate thus far.

Tldr buy this.We’ve learned the hard way that a lot of the forehead thermometers don’t read accurately, especially at a reasonable price point. So relieved to find one that actually works! Now I know whether or not my daughter has a fever.

This thermometer does not take accurate readings. It’s a different reading from one minute to the next.

I took it to my doctors and had it calibrated . it was .2 off. way better than the last one I bought .

1. It doesn't work when the environment is too cold, like less than 18.2. You cannot change the unit of measurement and for it to remember the change, ie, you have to change it each time you use it.
