About this item

  • ✔️ SHIN DEBRIS PROTECTION - Forester brush guards are the perfect leg gaiters to protect your shins and feet from flying debris and blades of grass. They act as pants and boot covers to mitigate cuts and bruises as well as rips or stains in clothes.
  • ✔️ LIGHTWEIGHT & DURABLE - These brush gaiter accessories are known for their durability, but durable gear doesn't have to mean uncomfortable. Experience the perfect adjustable and lightweight fit over your shoes or boots.
  • ✔️ EASY ON/EASY OFF - A lot like shin guards, the Forester Brush Gaiters fit just below the knee, but also covers your feet. This makes them extremely easy to put on a take off unlike using half chaps or heavy-set brush pants.
  • ✔️ WATER REPELLENT - Get the job done rain or sun. While most trimmer or weed wacker tools are able to handle wet terrain, so do our gaiters. They are waterproof to keep your legs insulated and your boots & leggings dryer.
  • ✔️ ADJUSTABLE - Comfort is important when taking on a grass trimmer or grass cutter. Outdoor yard tools and equipment should be innovative in design with convenience in mind. Forester's built leg gaiters for men AND women. The durable & adjustable straps make it a perfect and comfortable fit for all.

I purchased these a couple months ago because my ankles and shins were taking a beating from weed eating and wearing shorts (I hate wearing long pants in the FL heat). I used them for the first time today and they worked perfect. They were easy to put on and kept snug against my shins. After I was done I just brushed them off and they were ready for the next time. Something so simple saved me from multiple bruises. If you’re on the fence about purchasing these, just do it. You won’t regret it.

Wanted to wait till after a little wear to post a review. Started to show some wear on the straps that go under your boots but they are between your boot and the ground. Had them for several months now. Probably take more than 1 pair per year if you use them alot. Really saves tour legs from getting beat up while wearing shorts. I will be purchasing another pair when these finally wear out.

These are much better than an alternative I had purchased for slightly less money. This works really well. It gets the job done. It keeps the debris from going all over the laces of your shoes and jeans. I usually get hit with tiny stones/rocks and feel it through my jeans. Not anymore. Not with these in.However, the one draw back in the design is, although hasn’t been a an issue yet, is the two bottom elastics that go under the soles of your shoes. Now if you use these with boots the elastic strap towards the heel of your foot will be safe from being dragged and a scratched from walking on rough terrain, driveways etc. Because it will align under the part of your boot that doesn’t come in contact with the ground. The front strap however, is not protected and will wear off with time as it aligns right under the ball of your foot or bit farther forward close to your toes. As I said this hasn’t been a problem yet. I’ve used it three times and I haven’t seen any damage. I’m also cognizant of the fact the straps are a fabric elastic and as such I don’t hoof on them too hard. Obviously this is not a lifetime purchase. It is designed well and works as it should. Just wished there was a different way to tie down the two bottom straps.

This is my second pair. Still using the first pair but these were on sale and wanted a second as a backup. We have a lawn service and I use religiously in the summer as I don’t like wearing long pants. They have saved my legs from large rocks and other objects that have been hurled at them by the weed eater. I actually had pulled them up to show someone else and saw the sale which is why I got them.

I have used them several times and they are holding up well. they protect your shoes well. you don't need to wear heavy leather boots when weed whacking. they are pretty thick, so your legs and feet can get pretty warm when using when its hot out

I tied these out for the first time and was very happy at how well they worked. East to put on, comfortable and did a great job protecting by legs.

I’ve used them twice now and they do keep debris from sticking/covering your shoes and lower legs. The backs are open so they aren’t that bad to wear even in hot/humid temps. The foot part has straps that go under your shoes and the calf part attaches with Velcro straps. I’d avoid walking on pavement as the foot straps will probably wear thru. Also not sure how long the Velcro straps will last but for the price I’m happy with their performance.

These gaiters help keep grass and muck off my shoes when doing yard work, especially weed wacking. Easy to clean or brush off.

Theses are easy to wear. I wear them with shorts and keeps gravel and debris off of my bare legs. I should have bought these years ago.

Even when wearing my best plastic shoes and shorts these gaiters do a good job. Very comfortable to wear. Delivered in a timely manner.
