I like the small size, I would like a more aggressive cutting profile. Seems ok, works well enough for mild steel if you have patience.

You get what you pay for. There is nothing wrong with this file, and nothing particularly special about it. It cuts clean and easy and should last as well as any modestly priced file. Note that this "bastard File" is of a moderately course burr, and will work well with wood, Fiberglass, or soft metals, (which will dull it after dozens of uses). I would buy another, and regard this type of product as disposable.

Using it to file my dogs toenails. Neither of us likes clippers and normal nail files don't last thru more than 2 or 3 toes. This works great for our weekly pedicures

Like an old Ford, this was rusting in the package. Also, it was crooked in 2 dimensions. Like a C+ project in a blacksmithing class. There are nicer files out there for an extra dollar or two.

I bought this primarily to file the rakers on my chainsaw chain, however the rakers are harder than the file and the file just skates across them, leaving wear marks on the file. I reverted to using my 10 year old 6" Simmonds file, that still cuts them just fine. The Forney works ok on regular steel, but I haven't had much need for that.
