This is a nice sifter cup, small, which is what I wanted and very sturdy. I purchase I different one first that I has to return it because it was thin metal and lost shape during shipped (it was mailed in a padded mailer, not a box) But this smaller one can't lose it shape as it is a thicker metal.

I wish I could find one of these that was built a bit better. It is cheapy. But it works! My wife and I have been married for almost 26 years. We received this as a part of a wedding gift. We use it for sprinkling powdered sugar on pancakes. You don't want to use the 3 or 5 cup sifter for that! Ours broke about 10 years ago and we have been looking for a new 1 cup sifter ever since. We were still using the broken one but had to use two hands. I read the bad reviews before buying this one and thank the Lord I didn't listen. It works great!

The sifter is made of strong but lightweight metal, it's easy to handle, and perfect for dusting with powdered sugar.

Good quality, but not that easy to use. Small and need to squeeze very hard every time to sieve flower.

The size was small, like I was looking for. But, it was more flimsy than I was expecting. Thankfully, I seldom use it. If it was something I used often, I don't think it would hold up.

I had a small sifter similar to this that I used for about 30 years. One day I noticed it was becoming rusty, so tossed it out and ordered this one. This one was quite awkward to use, putting a strain on my hand and fingers because it was impossible to grip with my entire hand. The main handle was too short, and the sifter handle was too small to fit all 4 fingers into. Even so, I tried to use it until I could find a better one, but it fell apart in less than 6 months. I would give it one star, but don't like to use the word "hate" in any review.

When I was married 54 years ago? I’d received a small sifter much like this one. But when we recently sold our home to move to a MUCH smaller dwelling, I got rid of most of my belongings. But the need has arisen for me to acquire another one. I just love this sifter and would recommend it.

The other ones on amazon are so expensive I refuse to buy them. I use this to sift almond flour and icing sugar, and some of it gets lodged in the mesh when you use the hand crack (the little plate inside that does the sifting presses the flour/sugar against the mesh) plus it hurts because you need to use another forefinger to steady it on the outside (the edgy part) so it pulls smoothly instead of getting stuck. SO INSTEAD I just hit it like a normal strainer/sift and it works great! The container shape means no flour gets pushed out the sides i.e I can hit harder, and the size means it all goes into the bowl and not all over the counter which was my main issue anyway.

Muy mala calidad, muy caros para lo que es. La primera y única vez que se usó se desarmó por completo y no es fácil volver a colocar las piezas en su lugar. Sin dudas, lo devolveré

I bought 3, one for myself and intended to give the other two as gifts but I was so displeased with the product!! On only one when you squeeze the handle, does it move smoothly but there is such a huge gap at the bottom of the plate that I am almost faster shaking the sifter than squeezing it normally. The other two have bent pieces that don’t allow you to squeeze the handle the full length and is choppy.
