Tried a couple other pup up goals and they did not work out. Ordered these and they do the trick. So far have held up really great and seem more durable than others. Highly recommend.

My original set, ordered in 2020, kept having the segments of the poles, held by rigid plastic connectors, come apart when in use and when being folded after just one season of use with U7 age group. At the beginning of this second season of use a few snapped making the goals unusable. I emailed the replacement parts group as the website suggested to see if I could get a few more connectors from them to get a little more life out of goals. Instead, they sent me, quite quickly, a whole new set of goals. Must be a known issue, because they have redesigned them to use one pole instead of multi segment poles (so more like a tent). I just got them and have only used them once, but so far, HUGE improvement in functionality. I can't say if new ones ordered will definitely have the new poles, but if they do, they are way better than the old ones. And to reiterate...very painless process submitting the request, proof of purchase (.pdf of Amazon order), and then getting them.

After putting these together, they are very easy to stake down in the yard and handle the velocity of the soccer balls I kick into the goal, as well as those from my 8 yo son and his friends. They are easy to fold up and store. Sometimes the poles disconnect from each other inside the sleeve. This is an easy fix and doesn't really impact the function of the goal. This might be the only reason I give it 4 Stars. The connectors for the poles do not snap together. They are just held together by pressure. If that were fixed, it would be 5 stars all around. All that said, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Not very easy to fold all the way down, but other than that they were good. Not even halfway through my 2nd season with them, I start practice and they broke apart. Bought them 2/24! They didn’t even last 8 months. Complete junk. Don’t waste your money.

As a caution to potential buyers, the product images for this goal (4x3) are not actually of this goal size. Instead they are of the larger option, which has a different design of the corner pieces for whatever reason. The smaller (4x3) has metal corner connector pieces, which are nice and sturdy but not what is shown in the pictures.For us, the goal arrived with no instructions on how to assemble or fold the goal up once it is fully assembled. We checked the box as well as inside the tote bag, and there were no obvious signs that this was a returned item where someone forgot to put the instructions back inside. Sadly, Franklin's website for this product is less helpful (less product description, fewer pictures, etc.) than Amazon's.Putting it together is easy enough so long as you make sure the corner pieces are arranged such that the strap that connects the two corner pieces will lay flat on the ground when finished (otherwise it will get in the way if a ball is kicked along the ground.). The most obvious way to tell which is the top and which is the back of the goal is by the back having a strap attached to it so that it can be staked to the ground.Folding the goal is easier than it looks despite the metal corner pieces and not having printed instructions from the manufacturer... Just bring the two metal corner pieces together and twist slightly to get the goal into a teardrop shape to fit into the tote bag.

While I had a bit of difficulty getting the product completely assembled I attributed this to the sturdiness and great overall look that followed. The goals do NOT feel cheap and are well designed. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of these!

No frills. It's a soccer goal that folds up into a teardrop shape. I didn't need anything fancy, but I needed it to work, and it does. 5 stars.

After the 1sr game the goals were broken and for the second game once unpack it was not possible to assemble them again, they deform.

Purchased in March - used in April & May.I bought 2 pairs. One pair the plastic connectors snapped the first time I folded both nets to put in the storage bag. Franklin was good about sending out replacements.The nets worked OK in April & May. I stored them in their storage bags until last week when we took them out for September practice. Many of the fibreglass rods had snapped while the nets were stored & unused. All 4 nets had multiple rods snapped. A couple more of the connectors snapped as well.Nets are now useless. $195CDN for 2 months of use. I highly recommend NOT purchasing the Franklin nets.

I bought this net to play soccer at the park with my son Zavier. The first few times we really liked it as it could fold really compact but it took a lot of pressure on the folding to fit it in the bag. After about 5 folds the fiberglass broke inside the plastic clips that hold it.Amazon was great with the exchange for another. I thought we just had bad luck, however the second one only last 2 folds and the same issue happened. The second fold necessary to fit in the bag puts so much pressure on the fiberglass that it will break. Once that happens the nets are useless.
