This cross stitch bookmark kit is great. I haven’t cross stitched in years and the pattern was easy to follow. I would say that the colors needed for each bookmark needs to be a little more clear as not all areas of the design were clearly indicated. However, it wasn’t too hard to figure out on my own. This was a cute project and easy enough for someone like me who hasn’t cross stitched in years.

The patterns are super cute. The color shading on the charts is often too light to tell it's even there. No instructions. Charts would be better if symbols were used to show the different colors on each figure in each pattern. Color placement is very vague. No instructions on how many threads to use for stitching and outlining.

These bookmarks are so cute. I got the set that has cats and stacks of books. They are all very very cute but there are a few misses here. The instructions are very minimal, there is no instruction on how to keep the edges from fraying, how many strands of floss to use, or what to do on the spaces that cannot fit a cross stitch. One other thing that may not be an issue for others, on the bookmark with the stack of books and the teacup, the bottom book is not symmetrical.Overall I still really like these and the price is great. I can figure out the minor flaws for myself.

Positive:- Excellent for beginnersNegatives:-Not of good quality- They are huge and way bigger than the padding you suppose to put in the back after you are done.- The colors are too vibrant. This one is more of a biased opinion because I like to be surprised to see the colors after I am done. This ones has the designs colored already which makes it hard to fill inspired. Lol. I will be returning.

Easy to use, haven’t dissolved pattern yet so waiting to see how that goes. Directions easy and colors labeled well just don’t forget to split your threads into 2 sets of three strands each (normal cross stitch practice though it seems it’s not in the directions)

I love the idea of these bookmarks, but the directions are just awful. You get a half sheet of paper that looks like it was printed on a dieing inkjet with instructions on how to stitch. Fortunately, I'm not a complete novice so I really didn't need those. BUT, the printed keys for the bookmarks are just as bad. The patterns for all six book marks is on one half sheet of paper also printed with the same dieing inkjet. Each pattern is only slightly larger than my finger. It's also printed in the same shades as the floss, so when there's 3 shades of gray right next to each other it's really hard to tell where it changes color. But it's a stamped kit so no big deal, right? Weeell.... The canvas is also printed in the same colors as the floss and it's also very faint in places. And each individual bookmark doesn't have a color key for that project printed on it as stamped bookmark projects I've bought elsewhere have. You have to guess which floss to use based on the tiny, blurry color key on the half sheet of paper.But I really love what the pattern is supposed to be so I kept it and I'm struggling through it. Don't buy this unless 1) you really love the patterns, 2) you already have at least basic stitching down, 3) you're okay with flying by the seat of your pants on color choice, and 4) you have really, really good eyesight.

This is a fantastic kit for beginners. It is super easy to use and includes quality materials.

Four out of the six bookmarks were cut unevenly. Some had edges that went right up to the pattern and even into the pattern, while other edges had two or three blanks rows on the edges. None of the bookmarks fit the provided sticky felt backing without some serious trimming. I ran out of three colors and had to use my own stock to finish the bookmarks that were worth saving. This is not a project I would recommend, or purchase again.

I spent hours cross stitching these bookmarks and was going to give them as gifts. When I put them into the water to clear the stamping, the red colour bled into the white of the bookmark turning it pink. I believe it was the red thread, not the red stamping. Now I cannot give them as gifts with splotchy pink spots on them.

If you’ve got experience cross stitching you should be ok, however the printing is hard to see for some colours and not printed on the fabric well (little wonky) I seem to have got the end of the roll of fabric on three of my bookmarks, the bottom row is the end of the fabric and not actual squares.
