The bag contains enough 100% cotton loops to weave 6 unique potholders (6" X 6" Finished size). These loops are now available in 12 beautiful colors (does not include black and white): plum, purple, blue, turquoise, peacock, green, spring green, yellow, orange, Red, pink and salmon. Children can enjoy this quiet-time activity, Perfect for rainy days, sick days or car trips. While having fun, they are learning hand-eye coordination, patterning, and refining small motor skills. Hand weaving, knitting and felting are wonderful intergenerational activities your whole family can share. These loops do not fit the larger-size Harrisville potholder Pro Loom (sold separately). These potholder loops are all cotton, so they are great for handling hot pots without melting in your hands. They wash and dry nicely. An especially nice bonus is that the Friendly Loom company has patterns for you to follow in both a booklet provided with the loom kit and online! They also provide patterns for making bathmats and purses out of potholders. I got the Friendly Loom kit for my 94 year old mother, and with some guidance she very much enjoys making these potholders for her family and friends. I also made potholders with my 4 year old granddaughter and it was a fun activity. I have bought several of the other bags of loops like the pastels and the earth tones, and they are all excellent quality.

Potholder loops have come a long way since I was a kid in the 60s. This brand is high quality and I've been purchasing them for years in all colorways. If you invest in several different packages the combinations are endless. Started my last round in late September and continued through mid-November. I may have spent $200 but I find this craft relaxing while watching YouTube videos or listening to the radio. From that $200 I made well over 100. Still have a LOT to give away. OH! And I even had the perfect loops that match a pair of vintage 60s earrings I have!

I haven’t opened the package I bought recently, but I have used this brand in the past. The colors are terrific. The quality and weight of the cotton is excellent. No irregularities in size.

The Rainbow colors were beautiful. The loops are well-made, and none of them were too short (every other brand I've used has had many that were too short). As promised, there were enough to make 6 potholders, with some to spare. The only negative is that there were more than twice as many red as the other colors, and I preferred the rainbow hues. But I used up the red ones in different patterns, and these might actually be more interesting.

I like to make and use the old fashioned loop potholders. These loops are quality made although a little pricy. Colors are vibrant, don’t stretch easily ( which tells me that are more cotton than elastic), fit the standard loom and make nice gifts to tuck in with my cookie trays or food baskets. They ARE not cheap though.ive bought several times over the years both for myself and to make gifts and will continue to come back this brand.
