I've done these tie projects before but this one is far superior. The felt is thick and strong. There are slits to help line up your work. It's relaxing and will keep you busy for days if you take your time. I love this project!

Bought this for my daughter as a birthday gift, she likes arts and crafts but is easily distracted and isn't at the age where she can focus on something for too long. This was perfect for her, we worked on it slowly but it was easy for her to put together and she is So proud of her blanket. Highly recommend for younger kids.

This was a gift for my granddaughter that is eleven years old. We worked on it together but still need to finish it. Our hands were getting sore from tying the knots but hey that is what this is supposed to be like. Very colorful, not cheap materials and I loved how the slits were already there. I have made these kind of blankets before but not with everything already cut out so that was a huge plus.edit to add, she is around 4' 11" tall

This was a wonderful gift from my 8-year-old granddaughter. It did take some time to put together. My daughter-in-law and I and my granddaughter all did it together and it was quality time.

If they had more styles I would totally be on top of buying more kits. The material is very workable and as an adult I enjoyed the mindful aspect of tying the knots and piecing it all together. You can do whatever pattern honestly that you'd like, so if you see things a different way than they're pictured I think it's a cool idea to go for it. All of the squares are equal cuttings so there's no need to feel like you have to do a specific pattern. The material was soft and at the time I bought this I was in need of something to keep me busy during long stretches of time that I'd enjoy and it was really fulfilling to see the work come together as I was creating it. I gave the blanket away as a gift and it was well received. It was definitely work to put together but enjoyable, not too hard and exactly what I was looking for in a busy/crafty project.

We got this for my 6 year old for Christmas, as she loves crafts and stuff like this. She seemed to love the idea of it, but I couldn't get her to sit down to do it for much longer than one patch at a time. Spoken as a parent who finished it for her over a span of hours, it's HARD to make sure that you don't screw up by missing a string. I did it many times and had to start over that particular piece. I imagine it would be a much harder for kids. They'd need to be watched closely. Overall, it's a great idea but you need to be meticulous! Ours is done now and my daughter loves it.

My 3 kids loved this. Each got one for Christmas - 10yo boy, 7yo girl and 5yo girl. It was really easy for them to put together (just tying knots) - once I showed them the initial process. It took them a few days to do it (doing a bit each day). They were all very proud of themselves once it was finished. Would recommend.

My daughter is really into projects and crafts. It is very user friendly and she does not want my help with it and she is 7. Easy to fix if you skip a loop and the result is something she’s really going to be proud of !

Beautiful project my 6 year old and I had a great time, definitely need space to work and leave it to take a break and definitely need an adult (or teen) we did it in one day.. but had to take a couple breaks but it’s a beautiful quilt warm, large and durable and we have a wonderful story and memory
