Hangers work great for hanging my son and my waders up to dry. Very sturdy hangers however the screws are cheap. Going to buy 2 more for muck boots.

I bought another boot hanger from Allen based on the brand's reputation, and the fact that it is made in the USA. I also bought this Frogg Toggs all metal hanger as a comparison.I was looking for a hanger for very tall all LEATHER boots -- think equestrian boots -- not waders. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a background in material science. When I held each as if I was the wall, and then had someone else insert and remove the boots, a couple of things became obvious. First, the boots that I am attempting to hang are extremely heavy causing the hanger to want to pull ( torque ) away from the wall ( That is, me as the wall ). This made me concerned that the Allen plastic model may break due to fatigue over time. It may be fine for lighter boots. The Frogg Toggs model could handle the load over time, but it is NOT the item pictured. The item pictured appears to be a die casting -- one can see the mold seam running across it horizontally -- but the item I received is a welded fabrication. Also, the arms on the Allen taper towards the front causing a pinching action, which some may find favorable. However, it does make the boot harder to insert and remove. The Frogg Toggs item -- NOT the one pictured -- has parallel arms without causing a pinching action. Ultimately, I am returning both and continuing my search. I may come back and re-purchase the Frogg Toggs later if I cannot find something superior.

I have several of the plastic version and decided to try these. I have up to size 12 waders on the plastic ones for years of use without failure or any issues at all. These seem to be an exact (but steel) copy of the plastic version so will work good but less spring so had to push a little more to get the boots into them as they do not flex. I will probably order a couple more of these just for my heavier tall hunting boots.

Love it. Comes with two wood screws to attach to your wall in your garage. It is well built and it is made of metal should outlast several pairs of waders. My friend bought the plastic one and it broke within one season of use. I would highly recommend this to every one.

Great for storing hip waders at our lake place. Helps keep things organized, product feels very sturdy, and performs perfectly!

Was really hesitant on these from the reviews saying it only fit kids or women's waders. I got them for a pair of 11w boots 6mm waders that are heavy as hell. These worked awesome. Can't see how it would fit bigger. I'd guess up to a 13-14 size boot. Solid metal construction. Got 2 more on the way now. Love that holes are North to south as well so will get both screws in a stud if hanging on drywall.

The Boot hanger is made of steel, my old one was plastic and cracked from the weight of the chest wader.

I was going to make my own bracket to hang my hip waiters when I came across this one on Amazon. There were a couple others on Amazon but I'm glad I choose this one.The design is simple and works well. The bracket screws into a stud in the wall and is strong enough to hold my waders even when they're wet. The boots slide into the slots on the brackets and hold your waiters securely allowing the water to drain out of the boots.I've very happy with this Wader Bracket and would highly recommend it!
