Perfect for that car that doesn’t have a front license plate. Transferred a plate from one car to an older car that didn’t have a front license plate spot. This was easy to install and looks good to go!

Very good design. However, you will need to mark holes with a drill if holes are not already in bumper and pre-drill. All screws are 5 star heads like deck screws. A small tool is provided but a larger screwdriver with an adapter is much easier to use.

I really liked the front license plate holder. Just push out the two bronze screw holes (you don't need them) and center the two top holes of the license plate holder over the front grill where you want the plate to be permanently affixed. Pay some attention to both vertical and horizontal centering, for aesthetics. Pre-drill two very small holes using the two top license plate holes as a guide. Using the two wood screws and washers provided, drill each one into the right and left holes, securing the license plate holder as well as the front license plate to the front grill of the car. Be careful not to over-tighten the two screws into the plastic front grill or you might strip the small holes that you drilled for the wood screws. Due to the unnecessary complexity of cutting and pasting photos demonstrating what I am talking about, using the Amazon antiquated Add a Photo software and trying to move my photo from my cell phone to this review page (no, a simple save to Desk Top followed by a Cut and Paste doesn't work either), so you will not benefit from my photo of my wonderful finished products. Ten minutes tops, start to finish. Enjoy. Yes, Texas requires front license plates. jsj

The basic unit is good; the only problem is that the receiving nuts for the plate screws fell out of the frame when I tried to screw in the plate screws, so all I could secure were 2 screws.

Fit my Kia Optima perfectly. I was a little to drill into my bumper, but there were indents in the bumper already to mark the spot for a license plate and this bracket fit that span with no problem. It's strong and sturdy.

The item received differed from the description and pictures provided on the product page. First off, the holder was missing the brass collars for the screws to secure the license plate to. Secondly, the type of screws differed; there was supposed to be four machine screws and two longer self tapping screws. Instead I received four short self tapping screws and two long self tapping screws. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if what I received actually matched the description. As far as I'm concerned the manufacturer is cheaping out on the product and the seller either doesn't know or care to update the product page to reflect this change.
