I was researching all different types of seat mounts, I didn't want a rear mount, and I didn't want too much restriction on height and age. So I ended up taking a chance on this.I'm so glad that I did. It's pretty expensive for what you get but it's actually built very well, and the seat is comfortable. The joy your kids will have riding with you makes it worth every penny.I've taken kids from 3-6 years old on it and there's plenty of room for my legs to peddle. I'm not sure if you're over 6 feet but I'm not so it doesn't affect me.It's pretty well balanced I can do turns, on and off road, bomb hills even go through mud. It's a little hard to peddle on steep hills with the added weight but it gives your legs a workout. It's a little tricky to mount if you're not holding on to something. So you lay your bike at 45 degree angle or so and have your kid put one leg over, and you do the same. Then in one swoop, stand it up and you're off.I mounted this to a 2018 specialized pitch mountain bike. Even with big diameter bar it mounted perfectly. There's extra parts of you need to adjust for height. It comes with a carrying bag if you take it off for some reason. You really don't need to either, it doesn't interfere with solo riding and I sat on it myself while peddling it's strong. You have to finagle it when you mount it to a hitch carrier, but it just a matter of getting the mounting pipe through the space in the frame, no big deal.I think it's better than the handle bar mounts as far as visibility, longevity and safety.Kids aren't high up obstructing your view, won't be thrown from high up if an accident did occur and your kids won't outgrow it as fast. Don't wait too long, they grow up fast.

This is the absolute best seat I've found for riding with a 4yo!! 5/5 stars, hands down. I'm fairly sure the seat is more stable than mine, and it's definitely more comfortable. I fully expected to need to ride bow-legged but nope; his head doesn't block my view, either, even in his helmet.+ The packaging is delightful and all recyclable.+ Instructions are included, and are clearly written with useful, easily understood illustrations.+ The included allen wrench/flathead screwdriver combo tool worked fine to attach the seat, but if you need to use the metal strap like I did, a regular flathead screwdriver might be a hair faster.+ My 7yo can ride almost as comfortably as the 4yo can. It's absolutely worth the extra cost over the other offerings, and I say that as a broke single mom.

Very happy with this product! Pretty straightforward installation instructions.Feels extremely sturdy. I like where it’s connected to the bike vs. suspending off the seat post like other brands. (I purchased a highly reviewed competitor that goes on the seat post and it required me to raise the seat bar too high to where I couldn’t ride my bike comfortably. Also, the other product would swing.)I like the sleek black design and foot rests as well. Feels safer than i had expected for an open toddler seat. My son sits between my arms and i can interact with him vs. the traditional child seat options.Highly recommended.

Seems expensive for what it is. Fits snug on our Specialized Turbo Tero 3. I have taken our 4 year old on mountain bike trails and around the neighborhood. We have gone up and down some serious hills and he has stayed stable. I think the foot rests help a lot.

My 3 year old and I are in LOVE! We have been riding bikes a lot but he can't ride his bike as long as I'd like to. Now I can get some exercise in while he has tons of fun. Game changer!I am 5'2" and have a hybrid step-through bike. Was a little worried about the feel/balance part with him on but I have NO problem at all. And I am by no means an expect on a bike! Seat it sturdy and secure on my bike.Installation was pretty straightforward. Found an install video online that made me feel more confident in what I was doing. Had a little bit of trouble with the velcro sticking when I didn't want it to...used the extra velcro strap to cover the other while securing it onto my bike frame. This sounds silly but if you have done it, you know what I am talking about lol. Once I figured it out, I will have no problem removing and reinstalling the seat if I need to!This seat feels secure and my family is loving it!

I have a biggie installed on a Priority Current ebike. When opening the package the bottom screws were very tight keeping the seat contracted to fit in the box. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN UNSCREWING!!! the bolts and spacers flew all over the room. I was lucky it didn't hit a kid or a window.Instructions are a little confusing but the video helped figure it out.The video should do a better job at showing a close up on the order of the hardware install as well as the recommended distance between the seat and the handlebar. Once you get it though it makes complete sense and is easy to take on/off.The seat prevents the removal of the battery but I can still access the charging port if I bring the bike by outlet. I also need to remove it in order to load bike onto a car rack (Yakima Ridgeback 5).The kids are reminded before every ride to keep their feet in the stirrups, their hands on my handlebars, and their tushies on the seat or the consequences could be painful for both of us. They get it.It's a lot of fun to ride with the kid in front. The 2.5 and the 4.5 YO are arguing over who gets to ride with me vs their other parent and they beg me to go fast. The 2.5 YO has been asking to go ride everyday since I got the seat. The 6 YO was willing to try but much prefers to ride independently. The 7 YO flat out refused to try.

We set this up on my cruiser bike and take my daughter out for adventures. She’s 2, holds on to my handle bars and we’ve gone on fairly long trips together with it. I love that she’s close enough for us to sit and chat.

Good design, awesome packaging. All things required are included in the box. My kid is 5y.o and is almost 120cm and feel really comfortable on the saddle. It took 10mins to mount it on on a MTB and so far I did not dismount it since the kiddo loves it

Love it! It's perfect for taking my 3 year old to and from preschool. Only problem is one of the bolts complete broke off while assembling so no I'm trying to find a spare bolt so it's installing properly.

Easy to install, and so secure! The kid loves it! It's great for long family bike rides when he tires out: I can bungee his bike to the back of mine and he rides home.

If your bicycle requires a tall adapter to fix this seat on, you are out of luck. I can only share my experience and it was missing in my package. Amazon customer service associates and the manufacturer both refused to send the missing part. You will have to return this to Amazon and hope the next time it is in stock, it is packed correctly with all parts present!
