Frost King Foil Backed Fiberglass Pipe Wrap
The foil-backed insulation cuts wasteful heat loss on hot water pipes and helps keep the cold water pipes from sweating in the heat of summer.

It was recommended (by a plumber friend) to use this to wrap my tankless water heater pipes with this before installing a plug-in heating coil. Saved my pipes from freezing this winter several times.

Should do ok job of insulating pipes but super thin foil backing comes off easily when handling product

The wrap should be at least 4†wide.2†is not wide enough! It doesn’t stay in place because there’s no tension on the wrap.

Unlike other reviewers I had no issues with the foil coming off while wrapping my pipes. The hard thing was wrapping it along a long stretch of pipe.

Frustrating that you can only order 9 at a time. We hoped 9 would be enough but now we need one more. So project is delayed further. 😞. Not sure if that’s the seller’s rules or Amazon’sProduct works ok but the foil tends to peel away from the insulation so we had to put tape over it to prevent that.
