Don’t over tighten the water release valve. I did over tighten, and it pulled the rubber stop washer off the pin and created a leak in the bowl. I have 2 installed and 1 is fine since I did not over tighten the valve. Since I never have water in the fuel, I am replacing with an non viewable water separator. My bad but just a heads up.

Does a great job of filtering and separating out water.Since I don't use boat much I left the old filter on for probably eight years. But removing it was tough and it had rusted quite a bit. Now I plan to replace more often to avoid problems.Clear bowl is huge advantage so you can tell when there is water in the gasoline, or if the gasoline is contaminated.

Seems of good quality for the price but like I said above the filter element is very tight and will be an issue to remove once I need to replace it. Going to try and remove it before I install it to make things easier in the future.
