ON: fuel on - lever pointing up - allow you to operate with normal fill-ups.
OFF: fuel off - lever horizontal - completely shuts off gas flow.
RES: reserve on - lever pointing down - allow you to access the lower portion of the gas tank when gas level is low.

Havnt had a single problem with this one I’ve used it practically everyday and it still is stiff and hard to turn no leaks no fuel smell it’s a good product

This Fit my 98 Kawasaki Prairie 4x4 ATV. (KVF400A) Works great. Old one from 1998 finally gave out. This was a great replacement. I would recommend this product.

It's a little shorter than the factory petcock on my bayou 220, but works as it should, is still accessible, and best of all.... Doesn't leak. I did have to trim some of the tank between the two tubes on the petcock.

Could not install due to holes being off about .050" too close together. Elongated them to make it work. Avoid this.

This is an inexpensive and functional replacement. It works. But it’s a shorter housing than the original and the valve lever is hard to reach under the plastic trim and turn to the upper setting. The original OEM was a better design with a longer assembly so its easier to read and turn the lever. I might just replace the gaskets on the OEM myself and re-install at some point. At least this one is not leaking gas anymore, so it will do.
