Dealer wanted $$$$$. This worked out great during an o-ring replacement, as my original lock ring was rusty and not worth cleaning and resuing.

We needed to replace the fuel pump on a friend's '08 Escape and need a new locking ring. Good timing as this one had just become available as a Vine item.This parts looks comparable to the OEM part and fits an '08 Escape without issue. The new fuel pump is locked in securely. I checked it a month later and it hadn't budged...all good.The OEM part is available for not too much more than this, but if you need a serviceable part very quickly, this part will work perfectly and Amazon will get it to you rapidly..

I broke my old one because it would not come off I think you have to pull up the tabs to remove it
