I've purchased a couple of these now - one because the 23 year old cap on one car was leaking can causing emissions codes to turn on the Check Engine Light, and the other when the tether line broke on a different BMW. Both installed easily and instantly and caused no problems with leaks. I cannot recommend this gas cap enough!

Worked perfectly for my BMW. Madey check engine light turn off and got rid of the gas smell when idling. Not the same color as the original but the price is amazing.

Has a nice tight fit--but doesn't click. Then again MOST of the reviews you read about caps to replace the OEM model do NOT click... But this definitely is a tighter fit than other replacement caps I've tried. And big savings over the $99 the dealer wanted for OEM. Will update if needed.

Provided the seal we needed to stop the check engine light. The old gas cap was old and the rubber was degraded. This replacement worked
