WARNING!!! This gas cap got stuck on my jeep liberty. I put it on then went to unlock it and couldn't get the key into the lock. When I finally did get the key in the lock and turned it over it stayed locked. I had to work with it alot to get it to finally unlock and release.

I wanted to assure that no one would fool around with my car's gas, so I researched ones on Amazon and came up with this one. The key fits in the lock fine, and is easy to lock, unlock, but maybe takes a few times to get used to how it works. I bought two, one for each of two Dodge models. I only got a gas cap alert once on one of the cars, but it went away soon by itself. I keep the old non locking cap installed in the car when I am traveling on vacation, and filling the tank a lot.

With high gas prices i felt like having a locking gas cap to deter gas thieves. This is in combo with a locking fuel door. The fuel filler area is kind of cramped with my key ring but doable. Make sure your gas cap is on correctly to avoid the "GAS CAP" light on the dash. Works well with my 08 Jeep JKU.
