This gas cap is no good. The tether is too short. The collar is too tight.The tether is so short the cap can barely reach to the fill pipe. The collar is so tight it will not slip around to allow the cap to twist on or off.There is zero “play†to allow room for holding on to the cap while trying to put the cap on or take the cap off.Pretty much need a pair of channel locks to get the thing unscrewed.

It fit great. The quality was surprisingly good. It was very easy to install just twist to the right. I had it down in just under a hour. I got it for my 2004 honda crv.

These afternarket fuel caps are crap. I had to modify this one to get the lanyard to connect and it leaks unless I screw it really tight. So tight mybwife cant unscrew it. Three stars because it already should have low expectations 😉

M’y dreaded Check Engine info came up on my 2010 Honda CR-V and my mechanic said he thought it might be that the original gas cap was just worn out. I got this one from Amazon, the light went off, and I’m very happy not to have a huge diagnostic bill to deal with!
