Engine light is on (2016 Kia Soul). Dealership said I needed a new gas cap for a small evap leak. This didn't resolve the issue/get rid of the light. Product itself arrived on time and in good condition.

Arrived about 30 minutes ago. Quickly switched it out. Easy to install. Been smelling gas for a while, didn't know why. No engine light ever came on. So decided to buy this. Within 1 minute gas smell was gone. And it actually clicks when you turn it. My old one didn't. So it's safe to say this new one does what it's supposed to do. I'll update if any issue arises.Update: Gas smell came back. I don't recommend.

September 2024 - Five months later the check engine light came on and the issue was this gas cap. It may have fit perfectly but it did not seal properly.April 2024- I bought this for a 2012 Sonata. Took less than a minute to replace the old one. Although the cap is larger, it fits perfectly.
