My car is extremely sensitive to gas fumes and if the gas cap seal isn't perfectly snug, my check engine light comes on. This was a great cap, and solves that problem better than the last one I bought. My only complaint is that the connector piece broke off after less than a month. And considering that I needed a gas cap because I left my old one sitting on the pump, that was a big reason why I chose this one.

I have a 2007 Lexus GX470 and had the dreaded Check Engine Light come on along with various other warning lights simultaneously. A quick Google search showed that these warning lights were most likely due to a faulty gas cap. I purchased this one and swapped it on and within a few days all my warning lights were gone. Great value for the money and solves my issue across a range of Toyota / Lexus vehicles.

I bought the car used and the gas cap always felt loose. This was much tighter. Unfortunately, I installed it when the temps were single digits and when i pushed the strap button into the door hole, it snapped. Still works as intended.
