Bought this for my Honda FourTrax. The previous one was completely clogged. This looked very different from the one that was on my quad so I was a bit doubtful it would work. We installed it and fired it up. It works great! May be the design is better.

Had to replace a 2001 Honda Foreman valve. Impossible in my experience to remove old bolts from plastic tank without stripping out the old nuts in the plastic. It requires high speed spinning of bolts with a drill to melt the plastic in order to remove the bolts and nuts, then plastic-welding bolts head-down into the plastic tank where the original nuts were to use as studs. Epoxy could be used, but plastic works well for me as I've done this job a few times on other Hondas.I think the handle pointed the wrong direction for On and Off, so had to modify the old handle to fit the new valve.No problem with the O'ring size, as some complained about.I do a lot of fabrication jobs for a living. This job took a couple of hours. I think most people would find this to be a nightmare job, but finding a replacement tank with a good valve is not easy or cheap.

Had installed for a year , the off position has always still leaked. Quad wasn't getting fuel today. Pulled this petcock out and the screen is desentigrated.Stopped up w material. This was a waiste of my time and money. Just ordered a honda oem.
