More expensive than the third party options but more reliable and less likely to swell. Battery drain is correctly reported unlike cheaper options that suddenly drop to zero. I had a third party battery that swelled in the camera and was very difficult to remove. Opted to spend the extra money for my new Fujifilm camera for the peace of mind and reliability of the OEM Fuji option. Beware of low priced batteries claiming to fujifilm originals. There are counterfeit versions that look similar but don't have battery protection circuit of the genuine Fujifilm units.
It’s me, again.

Yes, you'll pay more for the OEM battery straight from Fuji. BUT you'll also:- Get a battery that lasts far longer per charge- Get a battery that lasts far longer in terms of working lifetime- Get a battery that won't swell up and explode in—or get stuck in—your expensive cameraVoice of experience—get the real thing. The clones are using generic spec cells, rather than compliant with the particular power draw requirements of the camera, and they're missing protection features that prevent the battery from doing damage to your equipment when it wears out.Seriously, you'll have to buy three generic batteries (for the same total price, no less) to get you as many shots as one genuine battery, which means multiple switches throughout the day, and in a year your three generic batteries will have to be replaced because they won't hold much of a charge any longer. That is, if they don't swell up, get stuck inside your camera, or worse. It's not worth it. Get the real thing when it comes to power.

Have had terrible luck with various aftermarket batteries. They either die after only a few cycles of use, or swell up and get stuck in the camera body.Yes, these Fuji OEM batteries cost a lot relatively speaking (4 stars instead of 5), but hold a charge better, last longer, and don't get stuck in my camera!

I was tempted by the low prices of aftermarket off-brand batteries, but I’d rather pay extra knowing it has earned the Underwriters Laboratories mark of safety. No other Fujifilm-compatible battery I’ve seen on Amazon is UL Listed.

I was little scared if the battery could be fake but this is the original battery . I had already purchased one more battery from the Fuji store so I compared both the batteries and it’s 100% genuine.Costed me 6400/- for one small battery which is too much…. But there is no option . Local store sell on MRP of 5499/- and seller charged more than MRP which is unethical. I have gst bill from the Fuji store with MRP printed on the box.Overall battery is good to have , it will last long and will not bulge after 3-4 month like an after market batteries . But u can buy 4-5 aftermarket batteries in the cost of one original battery . Take your decision accordingly.See , if you shoot videos , then buy original batteries as video take lots of battery power and battery heats. Aftermarket batteries can’t take that much of load and discharge quickly . For photos , aftermarket batteries are just ok
