These work fine in our humidifier. They lasted a reasonable time and were cost effective.

These work well for the Essick AirCare humidifiers I have. Costs less than the brand-name items. Works just as well or better. The lower cost allows more frequent changes of these after they inevitably become less effective over time with mineral deposits. I use the BestAir water additive, Step-1/Step-2 to help reduce that and any algae buildup in the humidifier that seems to extend the life of these pads.

The wick for my humidifier does work good and does wick up lots of water and wick life span is brief.

We use city water in the humidifier and these wicks plug every 4 to 5 days. At $20 each-ish we are looking for another unit.

I cannot detect any noticeable difference in the performance of this replacement from the original. It also fits well.
