The filters are well constructed, the fabric on the outside gives it strength when rinsing it under the water and soaking it to remove any debris. The bundle packages make it a great value for your money.

These filters work great. They generally don't harden up. I replace mine every two months. I have two identical humidifiers.Please make sure you order the correct filter. There are many models that look similar. Each model uses a specific filter and only one will fit your humidifier. My humidifiers are Honeywell HEV685B and use Filter "E".My wife accidentally ordered Filter A and they were way too small and had to be returned.

When I used the NON-blue lined filters, they seem to get mildew and mold much, much faster. The rate of water evaporation seemed excessive too. We switched to the blue lined ones here and it solved several problems. We do not have to change them out as often from the mildew/mold growth and it has slowed the evaporation rate down without negatively affecting our indoor humidity level. I'd recommend them.

During the winter months, I can't sleep without a humidifier because I have sinus trouble as soon as the heat goes on.The water where I live is obnoxiously hard, and I'm in an apartment, so my options are spending over $1 a day for distilled water, or going through tons of filters. Filters are cheaper in the long run.Over the last few years, I've used all of the highly rated brands on Amazon.These are similar to the others.With a water softening float, they last 5 or 6 days with constant use and daily flipping.With the blue ones, a tank of water lasts about 24 hours on medium speed - a surprisingly long time - because they don't dispurse as much water as the ones without the blue filter, but my humidity reading stays at about 50%, so it works for me.No complaints at all. I'll order these again as long as the price is comparable.
