These peels are great when you have a lot of pies coming out of the oven. It's really handy to have a stack of them to use in place of cutting boards or serving dishes.That said, they aren't the best for actually launching pizza. Despite the glowing description, the handle isn't ergonomically designed, it's too short and too wide to be comfortable for almost any hand. The wood is really absorbent, which means the dough sticks worse than my other wood peels. I'll oil them and see if that helps.The best feature is the price. Which is good enough that after trying out the first set, I went and bought four more. I'll see how long they last.

Were a little thinner than I expected, but they held the load easily Love the tapered ends, they make it easier to wedge under the pizza.

Very uncomfortable handle, light weight, very dry wood, burnt the first time I used it.Good price but pretty poor quality, works okay for the price but I would not purchase again

Great product. Lightweight but sturdy. Able to pull my pizzas/bread/salmon/etc…, out of the oven without burning my fingers. Not appropriate for roasts, or turkey dinner, but perfect for what it was designed to do.
