The metal part feels a little bit thin but does the job.There is another thing I realized. It is not really suitable for doing the final touch and putting toppings on pizza and then placing it on my pizza stone in the oven. Because of the holes in the peel, all the semolina flour falls and pizza dough sticks to the peel :(So I ordered a regular wooden peel for that purpose now.This peel is for picking up pizza from the oven or turning it around, but I noticed that you don't have to turn pizza in the regular oven, and it is better to actually put some flour on the pizza stone so later you just take the stone and pizza come off the stone easily. So now I'm not sure why did I get this peel. But that's my problem lol. Hope it helps

The bamboo peel is gorgeous, very nicely finished and packaged well. However, it is too small for my needs, I like to make bigger pizzas on the peel and then transfer the pizza to my pizza stone. My previous bamboo peel was 14 inches, just the right size. That said, if a 12 inch peel fits your needs, this is a nice one

Love how functional this pizza paddle is, for someone who has limited space in the kitchen it is amazing that I can fold it up and store it out of sight. I struggled to get the pizza from the paddle onto the preheated pizza steel even though I floured it but it was really easy to remove after the dough was fully cooked.

This product does its job as it supposed to. I love to make pizza at home and by using this, I can now insert the pizza into the oven as it should be.

I use it all the time and it works great. I have probably launched several hundred pizzas with it with no problems.
