These are phenomenal! I use these for loading into my Gozney Roccbox oven. FAR SUPERIOR to the metal one that comes with it. We cut our pizza on these and use them as plates too. These are super thin and work amazing, just buy them, you'll love them!

I rarely write reviews, but this peel is a game changer. I've been making homemade pizza for over 30 years, and this peel takes it to a whole new level. The flexibility and smoothness are perfect! Sprinkle with a bit of flour, build your pizza on the peel and slide it easily onto your stone in the over. Best pizza tool EVER!

So - let me be straight with you - my wife can only tolerate so many pizza making specific items in our kitchen. Between the cast iron pizza pan, the pizza plates, the stand, the constant bread flour, the fancy crushed tomatoes, etc... its plenty of stuff. I wasn't going to be able to buy both a metal and a wooden peel. I know people can get away with one of either, but both have their downsides at some point in the pizza making process. I was using a cutting board, made by the same brand as this peel (which worked really well by the way - try it before buying something) but it had a smaller diameter than my pan and I am trying to maximize the size of my NY style pizzas. So I bought this peel. It is great! No real issues. I guess I wish it was a tiny bit thicker, by the handle and it just feels a wincy bit flimsy. But not really - it shouldn't deter you. It's just a heads up. If you are looking for a single peel that is easy to clean and dishwasher safe, this is it.I'm considering cutting down a dowel, and sawing it in half, and then screwing the halves together to create a rounded handle on this peel. It would make it perfect for me. Anyways, stop reading this and get on that pizza making!

Love pizza. The ninja turtles would enjoy this. Better than feeling the heat on your dumb hands reaching into the oven. Seems to be made well, it was a Father’s Day gift. Seems my Dad has dropped it maybe? Has a chip already. Still works. It’s a night light. See how it works out. The size is good, I like the hole for hanging.

Got this peel primarily for building and launching pizza. Wanted wood because metal sticks to uncooked dough too much. Haven't had any issues with sticking using this peel as long as dough is well floured. Also can use cornstarch or 0 flour to help dough slide off. Peel is lightweight so easy to maneuver. Much easier to launch than the thicker wood peels made of acacia, etc. Peel is thin enough that you could also use it to remove pizza from oven, but the peel will burn on the bottom where it touches pizza stone (experience from ooni koda 16 which gets to 900F). Because of this would use a metal peel to remove pizza instead. Overall this peel easy to clean. Seems to be made from similar composite material as their cutting boards.

I was browsing through old reviews I'd written and I audibly gasped when I saw I'd given this 3-stars. What was I thinking? This has become one of those kitchen workhorses that I wouldn't dream of parting with for love nor money! I've been using this for my '5-minute a day' bread loaves and the occasional pizza for many years now and it's fantastic. It's lightweight and strong; so thin it barely takes up any room in the cupboard. And I swear the surface looks EXACTLY the same as the day I bought it. But note: I do not ever cut on it. (I think if I did, there would be marks)I bought this to move free form ("artisan") loaves in and out of the oven more than to make pizza, and it works just fine. It's extremely thin, which is great, and seems as sturdy as my (much thicker) wood cutting boards. My only gripe, and I suspect this may resolve itself over time, is that my dough sticks to it a little bit too much. That may be because I'm using wet doughs (a la the "Artisan Bread in 5-minutes a Day" and "Healthy Bread in 5-minutes a Day" style), or the board just needs some breaking in.All in all, I'm really happy with this purchase.

We had a similar pizza peel we purchase from William Sonoma almost 10 years ago that we love, we needed a second one but I didn’t want to spend $50. This peel is the exact same material and a great large size, only difference from the WS one is that it doesn’t have a comfort handle, which I actually prefer because it can lay flat!

Works perfectly to get my pizzas onto my stone. I was so happy from the first time I used it at how easily the pizza slid off. Previously I had tried a different one previously (metal) and the pizza just stuck and did not want to come off. I treated that one and this identically and the other failed and this one performed perfectlyAdd to that the generous size that can handle any size pizza I would make. And being dishwasherable is a plus too.Love mine.

Really good board.Only "issue" was that it had a sticker on the side that you use. Took a few cleans with oil/rubbing to get all the residue off but after that I had no issue with dough sticking.Just remember to add liberal amounts of flour *before* you sit the dough on this.
