When I finally got a long-coveted pizza stone a few years ago, I needed a way to get my pizza into the oven and remove it when it was done. There were a lot of options available, but this one looked good and was a good price. I've been using it very frequently for more than three years now, and it's served me well. The handle is the perfect length for use with a home oven. If you have a large outdoor pizza oven, you may want one with a longer handle, though I'm not sure.It's also great for getting loaves of bread in and out of the oven when baking then directly on the stone. So if you have a pizza stone or steel, this peel is great. It's held up very well and is very easy to wash. I hang it from a hook on the outer side of my kitchen cupboards so that it stays out of the way when I'm not using it.

The pizza spatula that came with our pizza cooker for our smoker was a piece of junk so we needed to replace it. this spatula works as well as expected and has made pizza nights at home a lot better! the only downside is that if you don't have a traditional pizza oven, the wood handle is a little long. than being said i expected it so i really cant complain too much. you wont be disappointed with this product though.

This is OK. Big enough to handle any pizza I can ever make. It sturdy enough to hold the pizza without bending.However, the wooden handle is a tad wobbly where it's connected to the metal. I don't think it's going to come off and it's not a big enough deal to make me return it but it just seems like it should be firmer.

Had to get a replacement for my pizza shop. This one has a nice thick handle. And the metal part of the peel is the perfect width and depth for all our pizzas. And our extra large is 16". The handle is held in place with 3 bolts and nuts. And you have to assemble it without any instructions, so I had to pay attention on how tonput it together and make sure the nuts were on top so the peel would slide flat over the pizza stones. But other than that, I was really happy with the purchase. Even the workers have made comments about liking this one better than our last peel. Definitely worth the money.

It's plenty sturdy and simple. Very good for a screw affixed peel and not a riveted one I am used to. Almost prefer it that way, rivets usually get loose over time and game over. This should just be able to be tightened. Flexes a bit, little wobbly but nothing that dampens its usefulness or causes any worry of any kind.

It is fine, except that the screws/nuts are not flush, so you have to be careful (1) to keep the raw dough away from the handle end of the peel, or the pizza gets stuck, and (2) take care not to put the peel on a scratch-able surface as the peel will mar stainless steel or possibly kitchen counter surfaces.

I’m sure it would work fine with an indoor oven too. But it’s just right for my 16 inch Ooni Koda. That oven requires you to turn the pizza several times as it cooks and this peel makes that easy. Be sure to use semolina flour to make it easy to slide your pizza on and off the peel.
