With a size of 12 inches, the shovel area of our pizza peel is large enough to fully fit your delicious homemade pizza. It can accommodate a pizza that’s large enough to share with everyone in the household or with your guests. So here a hot tip: shake the peel periodically while topping your pizza, make sure that the dough does move and slide on the peel. Use a back and forth motion when sliding it into the oven. Great price for this peeler, I love the fact that it folds for easy storage. Easy to use, great quality, thick enough to handle the pizzas without any issues. It doesn’t stick as long as you use flour, performs very well. ( it is a bit sharp, exercise caution when washing)

This is a real innovative idea. Pizza peels have to be long and usually take up lots of space, but this one folds.As a peel, it worked fine. It was a bit large for my small oven and was hard to turn the pizza because it was square and the size of the oven space. However, it did a great job of getting the pizza on and off without sticking.

I was wary that this would be cheap and floppy, but it is firm and seems well made for what it is. It has been entirely unharmed by the dishwasher.It is the size of a normal frozen pizza, but if you see yourself making your own big pizzas you should be aware of the size.

About as simple as it gets: unscrew the collar, pivot the handle out, tighten the collar to hold the handle in place. There were very thoughtful and elaborate instructions for anyone who had trouble with that. It has a great tapered but not sharp front edge, light weight, and has a great finish. It worked great for sliding pizzas into my little Gosney pizza oven, rotating them, and bringing them back in side. I always flour the bottom of my crusts well but had no issues with stickage as I had with my other serving peel.

I initially bought this pizza peel for my new Ninja outdoor oven, but, as yet I haven't tried it for this oven. We sometimes get 16" pizzas from a local pizzeria, and always freeze almost 3/4 of the pizza after one meal. I keep a baking stone in my conventional oven primarily for reheating pizza. After the baking stone is preheated at 375 degrees, I cover the pizza peel with aluminum foil (shiny side down), put the pizza pieces for one meal on it and use the pizza peel to slide the aluminum foil with the pizza on it onto the baking stone. I bake the frozen pizza for 25-30 minutes to crisp the crust, melt the cheese, and reheat. Then I slide the pizza peel under the aluminum foil to remove the pizza from the oven. We like the reheated pizza better than when we first get it.What I love about this pizza peel is: 1) The handle folds for storage which requires 1/2 the storage space of other pizza peels I have. 2) The bolt used to secure the handle is plenty strong to hold the weight of any pizza you could put on it, and it also secures the handle in the folded position. 3) This pizza peel easily holds a 12" pizza or enough leftover pizza for 2 people. 4) The aluminum peel will not warp, crack, or dry out as wood ones sometimes do.I hope this review is helpful for you.
