Actually purchased this for an antenna mount. Seems as though it should last. I don't truly see driving around with a flag/antenna mounted, but it should certainly hold up!

I got this flag pole mount for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. It seems like it will hold up for the limited amount of use I will put it through each year. It looks nice. Very easy to install. It fits my truck as is. For my Jeep, I have to use an extension due to my large spare tire. I love the tilt option. That makes it very functional for just about any vehicle. I think you are getting a good product for the price you pay.

I actually picked this up as an antenna mast mount for portable ham radio operations up in the mountains. I don't have it mounted on the vehicle while traveling, but it's able to support a beefy mast and a good length of wire antenna while stationary.I could see it working well for holding flags when driving slowly (e.g. during a parade or some other event). Due to the way that the clamp attaches to the pole and the stress that is exhibited on this during higher speed travel, I'm not sure that I would feel comfortable using it at highway speeds. The metal is a bit thinner than I would expect for actual travel while carrying a flag, but your mileage may vary.

I purchased this trailer hitch flagpole mount for my SUV to replace an old rear bumper and it seems to work very well. Both the mount and the flag are very simple and easy to install, there are no complicated procedures, and they are absolutely secure and will not fall off.
