This product once installed, does an excellent job of keeping out rodents and dirt. Installing the rubber gasket was a little bit tedious because of the friction involved but once installed, I’m thrilled with my garage door and the way it keeps garbage out from underneath.

Product is clean, looks great once installed, and was overall reasonably easy to install. The guide bars (tracks) are made of aluminum and it's fairly straightforward to install. The brushes went in great and look really good. The vinyl seal looks good and was also fairly easy to install. Follow directions! Use the soapy water as a lubricant. It make life easy.Only real bother was making it fit. Total length of kit was about 6 inches longer than my door. Had to cut a track piece, the brush and the vinyl. Expected but more difficult than i originally thought it would be. I would recommend making the track pieces interlock in some way so as to add strength to the design. The only other real issue was the length of the brushes and tracks are exactly the same. Making the parts a small amount mis.atched in length will also add strength to the track pieces. So that the brushes overlap the joint in the track.Overall, looks great, easy to install, and does the job well.

It worked pretty good on my application. I even made a YouTube video. It closed an irregular 1" gap.

I recently purchased the Ginchain Garage Door Seal Kit, hoping to enhance the insulation and protection of my garage. While the product has some commendable features, its installation process and design left me with mixed feelings.On the positive side, the quality of materials used in this kit is noteworthy. The heavy-duty rubber seal and the aluminum track retainer base are robust and seem durable. Once installed, the seal effectively blocks drafts and debris, living up to its promise of improving garage door insulation.However, the installation process was more challenging than anticipated. The biggest hurdle was the absence of a straightforward method to screw the rubber bottom seal onto the garage door. This design oversight made the installation process cumbersome and time-consuming.Additionally, if you attempt to install the seal onto the tracks first, as per the instructions, it becomes nearly impossible to then attach them to the garage door. This seems like a fundamental design flaw that significantly complicates what should be a relatively simple task.The product could benefit greatly from a more user-friendly design, possibly with a clearer instruction manual or an alternative method for attaching the seal to the door. As it stands, you might need a lot of patience and some DIY skills to get this installed correctly.In summary, while the Ginchain Garage Door Seal Kit is effective in its function once installed, the process of getting there is fraught with difficulty due to its design. It might be a good purchase for those who are handy and have the time to tackle a challenging installation, but it could be a frustrating experience for others.
