It is a good hoe - nice sharp blade and tines and the metal handle is made of sturdy metal, however.... Disappointed with the handle. Came disassembled and when I put the pieces together, the location of the connection point in the handle means there is a lot of strain put on it and, during use, it comes apart often. I will have to come up with a way to make it permanent that can withstand the strain of use.

This tool is ideal for my uses. I bought a home that was unkempt for many years. The overgrowth was overwhelming until i bought this tool. Eventhough i have a powered tiller, this tool earned it keep immediately by allowing me to pull woody vines and saplings at the root. The tiller would have wound all of the aforementioned around its tines and I would have spent afternoon cutting them free. Because the tool has a powdercoated steel handle that quickly assembles to varying lengths, I can use it at the length that best serves my needs. I put some dry sand inside the handle tubing when I need it to have some weight. It's a good buy.

Guys! If you have a lot of weeds in your garden or gravel, this is the best tool! It's better than doing the one weed tool at a time. Just scrape the soil like you're giving it a hard backrub and all the weeds get destroyed. I then use the rake side to gather into small mounds. I also bought one of those trash hands claws to pick up the weeds and throw them away.

The blade was useless for my soil. Not sure it was as my soil as the tool. I liked that the handle could be shortened to accommodate getting down on your knees and working close. Knowing what I do now, I wouldn't buy it again. It is a well built solid tool. It just didn't do what I wanted it to do.

This has been my favorite garden purchase this year. It makes weeding so much easier and faster than before. I no longer have to crouch down and pull weeds by hand one by one. With this tool, i can just run it back and forth and get a ton of weeds in just a couple passes.I will say, this tool works best on smaller, annual weeds. The ones with deeper, larger root systems (think dandelions with their taproots) may take a little more work. Still, I love this tool and have already gotten a few of my friends to buy one.

This thing is solid! Construction wise epic and strong all steel, easy to put together and change hight.Perfect for tilling dirt and to take the grass off it works but you need good elbow grease to do it. Very happy

Why didn't I know about this tool sooner? This is everything I need to make my garden weed free. My bindweed and goutweed is not getting the better of me this year. The tool is sharp and effective -- it comes disassembled but takes seconds to put together. I love it so much that I bought a second for my elderly mother.

bought this last month or so and started using it - it fit together well and seems of good construction and solid materials and works well in loose dirt. Not sure how well it works in clay or heavier soils - haven't tried yet. The pieces fit together well - easy to assemble (comes in several pieces for ease of shipping), though a little long for me (I'm a petite woman) but I imagine it works really well with someone even a little bit taller than me.
