I can’t tell you how many hoses I have gone through that end up in the trash. The typical rubber hoses aren’t worth the money spent and never live up to how they are advertised.Likes:-does NOT kink-functions easily as it winds up on hose holder with ease-takes up less room than rubber hoses-doesn’t leak-light weight-durability, bought 10 months ago and still looks like new

I can honestly say that I am blown away by this metal covered hose. I have gone through hoses that my cats have sharpened their claws on, resulting in a "sprinkler hose." The "accordion" style fabric hose blew up in my face after a year use, and the other one in the back yard sprouted leaks all over, but not sure why. I think the material just gets weak and tears. I also had that maybe two years at the most.I used this metal hose for the first time this morning. It was easy to attach the nozzle, and secure it to the house water bib. No issues, no mysteries, no calling my handyman. I'm a 78 year old female, and if I say it's easy, it's easy. It comes with extra washers for the inside of the attachments, but there were already washers in the connections, so didn't need to use them.The hose is lightweight and "slinky." It slithers. It doesn't kink, and slides easily over concrete and grass. The nozzle that comes with it works perfectly. I washed my car with it, and tried out the different settings.If I could give everyone in America a great hose, this would be it. I am buying another one for the back yard. I should give them as Christmas presents, and I'm not even joking. If you know someone who uses a hose, tell them you love them buying them one of these!

The hose comes in a small box what I did was lay it out straight and unwind the small loops that it was packaged in where the hose is now relaxed like an extension cord running one hand holding the hose semi lose to the end from the centre to both outer ends. Sort of like running the kinks out of the hose to relax state. I had to do this about six times on each side from centre. Cons, you will get oxidation black marks on your hands similar to what you would get from aluminum.. hmm I found this odd.. so wash your hands thoroughly. (You should wash your hands thoroughly after handling hoses anyway.) This way your hose is now loose and will be easy to use and put back on your hangar.Buy a decent hangar this helps keep it's loose form. I have not tried this yet, just got it and will update. I bought this because every 3 month on average I had to replace my expandable hose because I drug it on cement every morning and evening to replace the fountain water for the birds and wildlife. Wonder if this hose material contains lead like most nothing written on the box no warning prop 65 ? This would be great for my fountain and others to use to fill their water dishes.. I don't know.... but I do know SOME stainless steel contains lead.Update the hose nozzle is an upgrade and it's so much stronger with water force. I do not notice loss in water pressure from some of the reviews saying the inside diameter is smaller. The dragging on the cement I can see it will hold up longer than the expandable cloth material. Also a plus is with the expandable hose once you turn it off you have to stand there and expell the water from the hose which seems wasteless if you are trying to fill a bucket now with the task of what to do with the gallon of water ? With this hose turn the spigot off, the water turns off and coil it up. Better in my case..

This is an absolutely, rugged non-kink hose. And it includes a Hvy duty nozzle. I would buy it again.
