I had been looking for a good way to automatically water my indoor potted plants. I had tried regular drip emitters, misting emitters, and halo emitters and they all fell short of what I needed until I found this. This stuff works great!! My plants are in 3 and 5 gallon fabric pots, so I simply made a little 8†ring using a T fitting to join it together and supply the water from a small pump I put in. Works better than expected. The whole pot is getting soaked now. I didn’t even think they made this stuff in 1/4†but I’m very happy I found it.

I recently tried this product, and I'm probably going to use it to replace every one of those chintzy plastic sprinklers that drip irrigation kits normally come with. The sprinklers have to sit above the dirt and mulch, and are very prone to clogging, and are super finicky to adjust. This stuff solves ALL of that: it can sit under your mulch, or even under the dirt, it requires no adjustment, it's basically clog-proof, and it saves water and cuts down on mold and disease from not soaking your mulch.Its only competition is PE tubing with built-in emitters. But for those, you have to get the right spacing, they only spot-water, and they can clog. I've been using this soaker tubing by making rings around my plants, and tapping into solid 1/2" supply tubing with great success. This tubing is for sure my preferred delivery device.

Not an exceptionally even flow over various lengths of tubing but doing its job even if a pin prick is needed here and there.

I wanted to add drip system to hanging rectangular flower baskets. I did one about a month ago, using emitters, which creates problems trying to water something long and thin, and seemed to overwater no matter how low I tried to to set them.Today I replaced the emitters with the 1/4" soaker. All of them worked perfectly, and none of them overwatered/dripped.As I saw another review saying this line had pinholes and a lot of spray. I watched very closely during the watering and yes, there were a few small points (maybe 2-3 along a 22-24" length of soaker line) where there was some "spray". But it was not like a SPRAY, but a VERY fine mist, not even enough to make the deck show any signs of dripping (I could feel it if I got w/in about 8-10" of the hanging planters in the direct line of the mist). I simply moved the line under plants so that a leaf was over those teeny tiny holes to redirect those drips downward.So far, so good.

I purchased 3 rolls of the 1/4" soaker hose for my garden from Home Depot. After getting everything setup I opened the value and almost no water came through. At first I thought maybe the length of my run was too much for the 1 valve. So I split it up onto 2 valves but it still was getting little to no water?!?! I then tried removing the pressure valve and increasing he flow rate. No difference except my 1/2 fittings blew out. Finally, I researched soaker hoses online and found all are not equal. I heard about Raindrip and gave it a try since I found it here on Amazon. I replaced all the HD hose I purchased with the Raindrip and started over with all on one valve. Turned system on and immediately had water flow for all area! Wish I had researched before buying, but who knew there was soaker hose that doesn't work? Do yourself a favor and just by the Raindrip hose and save yourself time and aggravation.

Bought this multiple times for the plants that spread. It’s flexible and easy to use. It’s been holding up well in the 105F heat too.

Perfect for my garden. needed an adapter 3/4 to 1/4 for my garden hose with timers. With t joints and plugged ends I made it loop around back onto itself and had perfect flow with full coverage of my 30*30ft garden. Also used clear 1/4 tubing to minimize water waste where drip wasn't needed. My plants are amazing this year when everyone else is complaining about the weather.

Lets more water out than expected. Quickly drowns smaller pots. The older version let out less water, but plugged up after only one season. Maybe this one lasts longer. And maybe will let out a more reasonable amount of water after some use. Time will tell.
